4AM Product Design at New Designers 2025: When You Come Home, Objects Say “Welcome Back.”

4AM Product Design at New Designers 2025: When You Come Home, Objects Say “Welcome Back.”

At New Designers Week 1 in 2025,

we were truly grateful to meet everyone through the ND Select platform.

For 4AM Product Design, this was our most mature, most complete exhibition to date.

For this presentation, we 3D-printed our logo and modular display stands ourselves—

a light but intentional way to communicate our design language.

With the generous support and guidance of Louisa from Future Icons,

the booth came together exactly as we imagined,

carrying the rhythm and emotions we wanted the space to hold.

Throughout the exhibition, we had many meaningful conversations with students.

They noticed the subtle humor we tried to embed in each piece—

those tiny details in structure and proportion that often go unnoticed.

Being seen in that way meant more than we expected.

I still remember a family who viewed our work from the very first piece to the very last.

They paused, observed, smiled, and discussed each object with care.

They stood in front of our booth for twenty minutes—

and in that moment, we felt what it means for design to be truly understood.

We also met several designers we have admired for a long time.

Talking to them face-to-face opened up new ways of thinking about our work

and its future direction.

And to our delight, we sold many pieces during the show,

receiving encouragement from visitors from all over the world.

During those days at the Business Design Centre, we kept hearing:

Your work makes me want to go home.”

These objects feel like they have a sense of humor.”

It feels like your pieces are waiting for someone.”

And we realized:

That is exactly what we want to do.

The Six Series We Presented

1. Gesture Cup

Inspired by the rhythm and posture of hands.

Each cup is a frozen gesture—turning drinking into something playful and social.

2. Stairs Series

The rhythm of structure, the narrative of shape.

Stairs introduce a quiet sense of “rise” or “pause” into everyday objects.

3. Time Zone Cup

Born from cross-time-zone living.

The tiny clock on the handle carries the rhythm of the earth’s rotation—

and the moment you miss someone an ocean away.

4. Mini Habitat

A tiny home that fits in your palm.

Part container, part furniture, part small architecture.

5. Companion Series

Little companions with gentle, expressive faces.

When you return home, they’re already there—quiet, present, simply keeping you company.

6. Ladder Series

Inspired by architectural structures,

transforming “moving upward” into a light, functional everyday object.

Our Theme: Let Objects Say Hello Before Anyone Else Does

When you step into your home—before the lights turn on, before the air shifts—

the first to “greet” you are the objects on your table.

We hope they are:

l  Playful

l  Functional

l  Emotionally intelligent

They don’t need to speak.

Their presence is already a form of companionship. This is why we joined New Designers:

To share objects that make life a little lighter, warmer, and more joyful.

New Designers reminded us:

You’re not alone in wanting a more interesting way to live.

We’ll keep walking this path.
